my philosophy

I look at teaching as a profession that I was not looking for but, somehow, it found me. My motivation to be an educator comes from the desire to inspire children to always try to do their best, even when they think their best is not very good. My teaching philosophy is simple. When placed in the right environment and given the necessary tools, all children have the capacity to learn and be successful. It is my job to nurture the mechanism that makes students want to achieve academically. We have to believe that each new day is going to be a little brighter than the day before. So, get ready... we are gonna have to wear shades!
