Teacher's 1st Weeks of School Survival Basket |
I know, it happens every year... the summer zooms by and before we know it, school's back in session. As lead teacher for my grade level, I decided to create Welcome Back to School Survival baskets for my 2nd grade team. I filled inexpensive baskets (Dollar Store) with items that teachers might need during the first few weeks of school. I stuffed in Lysol wipes for cleaning counters and desks and soap for keeping hands nice and clean. Bottled water, cookies and chocolate gives us a pick me up when there's no time to stop for lunch. Stickers, highlighters, white out, #2 pencils and dry erase markers are easily grabbed when needed. I placed a basket in each teacher's room before they arrived for our teacher's pre-service week. The teacher's loved their baskets and were using lots of the goodies immediately. So, WELCOME BACK and have the best school year possible!
